Employee, worker or self-employed, they each mean something different in terms of employment rights. With continued growth in the gig economy and in light of recent high profile employment tribunal decisions it can be hard to determine which title applies. In this podcast I take a look at the law, exploring how tests used to define employment status have and continue to develop. I also summarise the main points from the Taylor review and what this means for organisations from April 2020.
